Each of the individual associations elects three trustees, two of which serve as voting members of the board of the Master Homeowers Association, with the third as an alternate. Elections for the two-year trustee terms are held in April, with trustees usually elected by written ballot on a staggered basis. The trustees also serve as the construction approval/architectural committee for their areas. Officers of the Master Association are elected by the board in May, when the new trustees are seated.
